Summary
- Would require landlord to report tenants rental payments to a National CRA if requested by a tenant
- Would require landlord to send notices to Tenant notifying of this option.
- Would not require reporting of late or missed rental payments
- A Tenant could choose to opt out at any time before a late or missed payment for Example
- A late or missed payment, the Landlord is to assume the tenant is opting out of the reporting requirement
- Bill appears to only favor the tenant and undermines the reason for even reporting to a CRA in the first place.
